Refilling of an inkjet cartridge includes the following steps:
- Carefull disassembling of the cartridge body and removing of existing ink.
- Cleaning of the cartridge from the ink remains.
- Cleaning of the print cartridge nozzles.
- Filling of the cartridge with high-quality ink that strictly corresponds to the exact cartridge model.
- Testing of the cartridge in laboratory conditions.
- Sealing of the printing nozzles of the cartridge with special tape to prevent the possibility of air entering the cartridge nozzles during transportation.
The design of an inkjet printer differs in that the cartridges are filled with ink, and not toner, like a laser printer. Inkjet printers are mainly designed for small print volumes, as ink runs out quickly and requires refilling or replacement.
